No, this is a separate program run through Battle Creek Community Foundation and Advia Credit Union and is strictly for secondary education.
This opportunity is made possible by a grant awarded to the Battle Creek Community Foundation by the State of Michigan.
Look forward to additional information being sent home with your child in early 2023. We will also keep this website updated with additional information about the program as it becomes available.
We are working with Advia Credit Union to finalize the new account opening process and we will provide you final notification once the account is opened (anticipated in early 2023).
If you select, you will be added as an account contact only, which will allow you to inquire about balances and to update beneficiary address information on record. However, you will have no rights to withdraw funds from the account.
Your school will be sharing information accessible within the publicly available “directory information” as made available via the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
If you choose to opt your child out of this pilot program, you may not be able to opt them in in the future.
This is a deposit-only account, and you will have no access to withdraw funds. Battle Creek Community Foundation (BCCF) is the owner of the account, and your child will be named as beneficiary. Upon approval by BCCF, your child will have access to funds for higher education purposes between the ages of 18 and 26.

Early Pay Advantage will allow most members to receive their payroll, social security, tax refunds and pension deposits up to 2 calendar days early. However, the ability to receive a payroll direct deposit early is dependent on the payer. If the payment is submitted as either a same-day ACH entry or an entry that settles the next day, you will get paid more closely to the normal settlement date or on the normal settlement date for the ACH transaction.
After you have opened a Checking Account with Advia, make sure to set up Direct Deposit or enroll in ClickSwitch for your payroll checks and other recurring deposits, and you will be automatically opted in to get early access to payroll checks and other recurring deposits.
Most direct deposit types qualify for Early Pay Advantage. Payroll checks from employers, government benefits such as social security, disability, tax refunds, and pension deposits qualify for Early Pay Advantage if direct deposited.
Early Pay Advantage is free.
You can remove the ability to pay with your credit or debit cards from Apple Pay on iCloud.com. Just sign in, click Settings, choose your device, and click Remove All.
You can go to icloud.com/find or use the Find My iPhone app to suspend or permanently remove the ability to pay from that device with Apple Pay. Your cards will be suspended or removed from Apple Pay even if your device is offline and not connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network.
The cashier can use the Device Account Number to find the purchase and process the return, just like they would with a traditional credit or debit card payment. To see the last four or five digits of the Device Account Number for your iPhone or iPad, go to Wallet, tap the card, and tappayWave® applePay. For your Apple Watch, open the Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch > Wallet & Apple Pay. Tap your card to select it and see the Device Account Number. Apple Pay activity is also included on your credit and debit card statements.
If the cashier needs your card details to process the return, you can follow the same steps for making a payment:
- On the device that you used to make the original payment, select the card that you want to be refunded. On your iPhone, hold the device near the reader and authorize the return with Touch ID or passcode.
- On your Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold the face of your Apple Watch a few centimeters from the contactless reader. Depending on the return and refund policies of the store, it may take up to several days for the return transaction to appear on your credit or debit card statement.
When you view your card in Wallet, you’ll see the last transaction for each credit card or debit card.
